354 Days Later

Wow! I cannot believe that I have not posted for almost a year now! Call it lazy, or busy or whatever you will but, 354 days later I return to the hum of my laptop and glow of the blogger screen to resume our little life story.

Obviously too much time has passed for me to go over everything but, here's a point form recap to get you up to speed;

  • Aidan has grown to 4' 1"
  • Judd turned 31, I turned 29 and Aidan is about to turn CRAZY 8
  • I closed down PURE Essentials for Life and returned to work at Nutritional Sciences 4 days a week. 6 months in and I still love it just as much as the first day.
  • Aidan got a new kitten which we call Riff Raff or just Riff (sometimes Riffers or Riffy), he lives with my mom and Garry in St. Malo and Aidan gets to visit him there often
  • We now give Aidan enzymes so that he can tolerate Gluten, we are still surprised at how badly it affects him if we get lazy about it and let him have too much or forget to give him the enzymes
  • My Fibromyalgia is completely under control and only rears it's ugly head when I don't take care of myself or slack on taking my supplements on a regular basis.
  • Renovations-wise the attic has been insulated, walls refinished on the main floor and Aidan's room was completely gutted and refinished
  • My friendship troubles are over. We've reunited and it feels so good.
  • Aidan had a bout of pinworms....it was a pain in the ass (pun intended)
  • We are officially no longer trying to have more children after suffering a miscarriage in October 2009 and ruptured ectopic pregnancy in late December 2009 which resulted in emergency surgery and a right side unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (removal of the fallopian tube and ovary), and we are content with that decision.
  • Judd and I started an extreme work out program P90X and it went really well until we stopped to do Aidan's room and now it's too darn hot to start up again so I am on the treadmill until it cools off as I am beginning to notice all my results slipping away from me.
  • Aidan FINALLY learned how to ride his bike hooray! After years of pushing him, pressuring him, practise and a little help from Garry he's got it down and is riding like the wind!
Just took a break from writing to go on the treadmill for an hour....it broke. Thank baby Jesus for extended parts and labor warranties!!! Hopefully it'll be fixed soon and I can continue to get this weight off of me that has been burdening me for far too many years! Bike ride anyone?

I will try my best to update more than once a year when the writing itch needs to be scratched. Until next time friends, family and strangers who've stumbled upon my noble blog.

Much love,

Sarah (Judd, Aidan, Kneesaa and Riff Raff from afar)
